MATTYDALE — We’re giving away craft kits at Salina Library!
Each month we have new kits for kids, teens, and adults. Check our calendar at salinalibrary.org for release dates or call us at 315-454-4524. The library is open for Express Services so stop by to pick one up or call to arrange a curbside pickup.
For young children, we offer Storytime Kits, which contain coloring sheets with stories and songs to go with each week’s Early Learners Storytime theme, a craft, stickers, and more.
The Kids and Teens March craft kit is a moveable Jumping Jack. Make a little person who jumps rope when you turn the knob.
On offer for adults is a whimsical painting kit for crafters and a towel topper crochet kit for intermediate crocheters. Adults with special needs will enjoy March’s blooming garden activity kit.
There’s crafting fun for everyone just waiting for you at Salina Library!
Upcoming Zoom Events
• Early Learners Storytime Online: 11 a.m. Wednesdays, March 3, 10, 17 and 24. Zoom storytime with Miss Monica for ages 3-6 with stories, rhymes and songs.
• LEGO Club: 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 9. Do you love LEGOs? Join us as we build, build, build — online! Show off your favorite new creation and build along with other LEGO-loving friends! For ages 5-12.
• Friday Crafternoon: Jumping Jack: 4 to 4:45 p.m. Friday, March 12. Zoom meet up to get help with kits and chat with Miss Monica and other crafters.
