Meghan McCain gives birth
“The View” co-host Meghan McCain gave birth to her first child Monday, the daytime talk show announced. McCain, 35, welcomed a daughter named Liberty Sage McCain Domenech with her husband Ben Domenech after suffering a miscarriage last year. The daughter of late Sen. John McCain had continued appearing on the show from home via satellite due to the coronavirus pandemic and will be taking time off to care for her new baby.
Lil Yachty arrested
“That Way” rapper Lil Yachty was arrested after speeding at more than 150 mph in downtown Atlanta, Billboard reports. The 23-year-old hip-hop star, whose real name is Miles McCollum, was charged with reckless driving and speeding in a white Ferrari three months after totaling a red 2020 Ferrari 488 when he spun out of control on a rainy freeway. McCollum denied reports he was in jail Monday in a video with stacks of cash.
‘The Craft’ remake
Watch out for the weirdos: A remake of “The Craft” is coming to Amazon Prime Video just in time for Halloween. Blumhouse’s new take on the 1996 teen witch flick will be available for rent or purchase on the streaming service Oct. 27. “Life in Pieces” actress Zoe Lister Jones wrote, directed and produced the 2020 version, which stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, David Duchovny and Michelle Monaghan.
