Orange County-based Brew Ha Ha Productions announced that it has canceled its annual Brew Ho! Ho! Drive-In Flashback Craft Beer Christmas Party.
The event had been reimagined to take place drive-in style with live music, socially distanced spaces for vehicles and picnic tables with self-served craft beer pours. It was set to take place Saturday, Dec. 19 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado.
“Due to the latest restrictions by health officials and out of an abundance of caution, we are canceling the Brew Ho! Ho! drive-in event,” promoters announced via its official Facebook page on Monday afternoon. “We thank all those who purchased tickets; full refunds will be processed immediately. We wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We can’t wait to get back to celebrating with you all in 2021.”
Each year, Brew Ha Ha Productions puts on several beer festivals including its Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa in July; the Brew Ha Ha, or Brew Ska Ska as it was dubbed in 2019, at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado in September; and the Brew Ho! Ho! Holiday Ale Fest, which typically takes place at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim in December.
They’ve also been a big part of music festivals including the Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival, Driftwood Country Music, Craft Beer and BBQ Festival and partnered with NOFX frontman Fat Mike for the Punk in Drublic Craft Beer Festival.
The only event the company has announced for 2021 so far is the rescheduled Punk in the Park featuring Pennywise and NOFX April 24-25 in Oak Canyon Park.
