GREENFIELD
Mary Magdalene (Marcum) Craft, 84, left this earthly realm on the morning of Jan. 24, 2021 surrounded by family.
Mary was born April 10 1936, in Somerset Kentucky, the daughter of William Ping and Mamie Marcum.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Ralph, Paul, Kenneth, Lloyd and Carl.
Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, Willis Craft of Kona, Kentucky. Mary is also survived by her sister Mildred Franklin of Somerset Kentucky. She was a loving mother of Beth Wright, Willis Ray Craft, Roger Craft and daughter-in-law Amanda Craft. She was a proud grandmother of four grandchildren Bethany Wright, Stephanie Wright, Logan Craft, Lydia Craft and two step-grandchildren Ashley Uppfalt and Jeremy Uppfalt. She had five great-grandchildren Corbin Wright, Delila Stone, Jackson Medley, Oliver Stone and Charlie Stone.
Mary found joy in antiquing throughout her life and loved the treasures she found. She loved camping and enjoyed sitting on the porch in the sun and having a good conversation. Her greatest love was her family. Mary was always determined and when anyone else would have broken she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Mary. Although Mary is no longer here, Mary’s memory will stay strong in our thoughts and on our hearts. She will be forever missed.
It was Mary’s wish not to have a memorial service.
