OLEAN, NY — The Olean Public Library, 134 N. Second St., is offering craft projects for children, teens and adults, in different formats for each age group.
Carry-out crafts for children are provided weekly. A few projects may require additional household items.
Teen crafting projects are conducted Mondays through Thursdays, 2-4:30 p.m. in the Gallery. No more than 10 participants are allowed, and all must wear masks.
For adults, the January online Arts and Craft programs are Mondays at 6:30 p.m. on the library's Facebook and Youtube sites.The schedule is below:
- Jan. 11: Create Wire Jewelry
- Jan 18: Compostable Seed Starters
- Jan. 25: Bracelet Charms
A grant from the O'Connell Family Foundation made the items for the wire jewelry and bracelet charms programs possible.
Craft kits for children and adults are available inside the library or by curbside pickup.
The library is open to the public Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.; Fridays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
