Ben Affleck has been linked to a number of high-profile, leading ladies over the past several years, but his greatest love affair of all just might be with the local gift shop.
As a Boston-native, the actor can regularly be spotted wearing any number of t-shirts promoting the city he loves as well as his favorite sports teams, the Red Sox and the Bruins. When he was dating his Deep Water costar Ana de Armas last year, Affleck also appeared to possess a near-endless supply of Spanish-language slogan tops from Clandestina, a popular store in the actress’s native Cuba. And now it seems that, even on his most recent jaunt to Montana where he rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez, the actor couldn’t resist stopping by the gift shop to pick up a few souvenirs from his stay. On Sunday, Affleck was photographed grabbing some food left outside the door of his Los Angeles home wearing jeans, a black zip-up sweater, and a navy trucker hat with the words “Big Sky” embroidered on a red and white patch—the same town where he and the pop star vacationed together at the beginning of May. And who wouldn’t want a memento to remember the place where this formerly affianced pair “picked up where they last left off?” During their brief jaunt to Big Sky, where Affleck also owns a home, a source confirmed that the couple realized on the trip “They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.” While another added, “It’s natural between them and the chemistry is unreal.”
This also isn’t even the first time the actor has worn an accessory in tribute to Lopez over the course of their recent reconciliation. After their whirlwind Montana getaway, Affleck and Lopez reunited in Miami at the end of last month and even hit the gym together, one of the pop star’s favorite pastimes with her former fiancé Alex Rodriguez (who is reportedly still in “a world of pain” following their breakup at the beginning of the year). In photographs of the pair walking around their private residence, Affleck can be seen wearing a silver watch, which a fan account noticed looks very similar to one Lopez gave him back in 2002 that was prominently featured in the “Jenny From the Block” music video. The silver timepiece, which can also be spotted in a number of paparazzi photos of the couple during their brief engagement, features a chunky chain band with a slim, square dial and happens to pair beautifully with a trucker hat and a Bruins tee.
