Grab a beer with us and get to know the Craft Beer industry from the experts themselves while you sip the very beer they conceived and then brewed. Jack Hendler, co-owner of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers (yes, THE Jack of Jack’s Abby) and Joe Connolly, director of Springdale Beer Co., take you on a beer tasting adventure featuring 6 different brews.

This is your chance to get an inside look at the craft beer industry. Learn the difference between lagers and ales and what it takes to go from concept to can. Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers is known for its quality distinctive lagers, while Springdale Beer Co. experiments with fermentation-forward flavors in ales.

GBH A Celtic Sojourn’s Brian O’Donovan will host will moderate the conversation between you and the experts.

All participants must be age 21 or older.

What you get:
Your ticket includes 6 beers – enough for two adults to participate- which will be mailed to your door. An hour-long tasting virtually led by Jack Hendler of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers and Joe Connolly of Springdale Beer Co. with the opportunity for you to ask questions.

Don’t delay! In order to guarantee the arrival of beer tasting package before the event, you must purchase tickets by noon on Monday, August 2, 2021.

Shipping Details:
- Make sure that your address is submitted correctly (no typos!)
- Register by August 2, 2021 otherwise we cannot confirm the beer will arrive in time.
- Upon package arrival, you will need to show identification to prove you are 21+ years of age.
- Once you receive the package, get ready for the tasting by placing the beer in your refrigerator.

Local to GBH? You have the option to pick up your beer tasting package at Craft Beer Cellars Belmont. Craft Beer Cellars Belmont is located at 87 Leonard Street, Belmont, MA 02478.

How it works:
This virtual event will take place on Zoom Webinar where you can connect with us and our experts from the comfort of your home. You will be able to ask questions, but will not be on camera. No need to dress up or find a designated driver since you will already be home! RSVP for this virtual event, and we will send you the beer and email you the link so you can join us.

Zoom is free to the public but requires a computer download. You can download Zoom here. If you already have Zoom, you will not need to download the platform again.
