Dairy Court at kids tent at craft show

The Luzerne County Dairy Court was invited to help at the kids tent at Mickey’s Crafts and More’s craft show. Court members shared wristbands, pencils and cow erasers, and reminded everyone to support local farmers by buying milk from a Pennsylvania farm by looking for the PA Preferred symbol, or the number 42 stamped near the expiration date. They also helped with the childrens’ planting station provided by Mickey’s. Children could plant a pumpkin, cucumber, or watermelon to take home.
