Polar Park is inviting fans to step foot on the ball field this October to enjoy a night of food and drinks at its inaugural food truck and craft beer festival.
There will be 25 food trucks and 30 craft beer breweries lining the park’s warning track come Saturday, Oct. 2 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by The Nightly’s band, the Worcester Red Sox announced.
Tickets for the event go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. at polarpark.com. You may also purchase tickets via phone by calling 508-500-8888 or visiting the ticket office located at 100 Madison St. in Worcester.
Tickets are priced at $35 per person and include a $10 food truck voucher and 10 drink tickets. Details on which food trucks and craft breweries will be announced at polarpark.com/foodtrucks.
The ball club says it will also activate Plymouth Street and Summit Street with breweries and food trucks.
“We enjoy finding ways to bring the community together, and we believe that the popularity of food trucks and craft breweries has appeal to families and friends on a Worcester Saturday night,” said WooSox director of Polar Park events Hannah Butler. “Blending these two phenomena on the grass at twilight holds promise for a beautiful and memorable autumn evening.”
A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 3.
