It’s a rare post-victory edition of the “Big Apple Buckets” podcast following the Knicks’ win over the Heat on Sunday. Kazeem Famuyide and I open the podcast talking about the impressive win over a really good Heat team. I yell about the fact that “Let’s Go Heat” chants were echoing through Madison Square Garden.

NY Post sports columnist Mike Vaccaro then makes his debut on the podcast. The New York sportswriter of the year talks about being in New Orleans for the college football national title game. He discusses the strong job Mike Miller has done since taking over for David Fizdale and what the biggest difference has been under Miller. Vaccaro also looks ahead to the trade deadline and potential trades the Knicks could make — and what they should not be doing. He also looks at the youth movement and how RJ Barrett is progressing nicely.
Rapper and diehard Knicks fan Marlon Craft then joins the show. Craft talks about his debut album “Funhouse Mirror” and what it meant to him making his first album. He talks about his rise in rap and getting love from Funk Flex. Craft discusses being a lifelong baller and Knicks fan and looks at the youth of this Knicks team and what the future might hold. I asked Craft about the rap industry and how hard it is to make it with more and more people trying to rap.
Craft then gets the joy of hearing my Knicks rap with Kaz beatboxing, which leaves the guy who gets paid to rap…pleasantly surprised.
