COLUMBUS, Ohi0 — Say Cheese!

Aaron Craft, who starred for the Buckeyes from 2011-14, was back on campus getting photos taken for the academic year. This time, however, it was not for archiving his achievements as the point guard for the Ohio State men’s basketball team.

Craft ended his professional basketball career earlier this summer to focus attention on the next chapter of his life — attending medical school at Ohio State.

Achieving steady and consistent success academically led to numerous accolades during his undergraduate career. He is a three-time first-team Academic All-American and was the Academic All-American of the Year in men’s basketball, twice (2013 and 2014).

A four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete, Craft was equally as successful on the court while leading the Buckeyes to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the NCAA Final Four, where he was named the Elite 89 Award Winner for highest GPA among all players at the 2012 Final Four.
