Family Game Night: Spooky Games Edition, 5 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. Will Hall will teach attendees a new, spooky game just in time for Halloween. Families are invited to bring a game of their own or play one from the library's collection if they prefer. A light snack will be served.
Story Book Walk, Barnum High School Nature Center. Barnum Community Education hosts the walk, where participants can walk the trail at the nature center and enjoy a story. The October walk will run from Oct. 21-25 and features the book “Goodnight Moon” written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd.

Author Eric Dregni will read from his latest book, “For the Love of Cod,” a humorous account of his return to Norway with his son to discover why Norwegians are so happy. COVID-19 Booster Shot Clinic, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Community Memorial Hospital, Cloquet. Only the Pfizer vaccine has been authorized to be given as a booster shot, therefore only those who have received two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are eligible. People must wait six months after they received their second Pfizer dose to receive a booster shot. Eligibility is also currently limited to people who are age 65 or older or who those who are residents of long-term care facilities; adults with underlying medical conditions; health care workers and those whose jobs put them at risk for contracting COVID-19. Those who meet the eligibility criteria should call 218-879-1271 and press #2 to register.
