After a soggy Saturday evening and Sunday morning, conditions across the Tri-States have begun drying out. A low pressure system that brought the rain chances has moved out of Illinois and into Indiana. This will bring an end to the persistent shower chances across the region.
Kicking off the work week, Monday will stay on the dry side with some mostly sunny skies in the morning and a few afternoon clouds. It is not impossible a stray shower or two develops Monday late afternoon, but most will stay dry. Temperatures will climb to slightly above average levels in the mid 70's. Clouds will increase Tuesday ahead of another low pressure system. This increase in moisture will allow for renewed threat of a stray shower or two Tuesday. Higher rain chances return Wednesday and Thursday.
