Former Hot Springs School District Superintendent Joyce L. Littleton Craft was honored Wednesday morning during grand opening events for the Hot Springs School District's Junior Academy and Trojan Arena and Auditorium.
A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony will take place at 4 p.m., and be preceded at 2 p.m. by the dedication of the Aaron Cooper Weight Room, in honor of the late coach.
Hot Springs School District staff members and community partners are welcome to join to tour the facilities in small, separated groups until 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the district's website.
Attendees must wear masks; masks will be provided. "Social distancing will be used throughout the day. All safety guidelines from the ADH (Arkansas Department of Health) will be implemented," the district said.
