And Alves is hoping they can learn from what was a poor performance at Anfield by putting it right at Old Trafford tonight. "I think we have to learn from the mistakes made during the competition and not reproduce the same mistakes," the Brazilian said. "There are few games in the Champions League, so there is little room for error. "We have to capitalise on what we do well because we have great ambitions in this competition. "We need to raise our level of performance, concentration, raise our level in duels, but I know we can do it, and we will do it. "It will not be easy, of course, they will not give us presents. We will have to race each other to clinch the qualification. "But it gives other players a chance and maybe they are more unpredictable for us with who they are going to play.
