Let's see what we can do, says Yangon United coach U Myo Min Tun - Myanmar Times

"We already know it's a tough game. However, let's see what we can do," said Yangon United head coach U Myo Min Tun on Monday.

"Despite the fact that play at their home stadium, this is the opportunity for us to show how a Myanmar national league club can perform on the pitch. We'll do our best," he added.

Representing Myanmar national league, Yangon United could knock out Philippines' Ceres Negros in the Preliminary round-1.

The Lions advance to the next stage of ACL and this is first time ever of Myanmar National League clubs.  Yangon United will face on Tuesday Chiangrai United which is one of best teams in Thailand Premier League. Chiangrai United overcomes this Preliminary round-2 of ACL after beating Bali United 2-1 in this stage.

"We won the last match playing against Ceres Negros in their home. Although they host the match, we are confident in fighting the opponent. We play with respect to the opponent and this match will become an entertaining match for the fans," Yangon United's Japanese midfielder Kosuke Uchida said.

"They include one of best clubs in Thailand but as I said before, we do the best. For our fans, I would like to thank the fans who will come and cheer us in the stadium and also the fans who will watch us and support from far away. We will play the best ," Kosuke told the fans.

Chiangrai city is near Tachileik city of Myanmar which is one of the reasons why a lot of Myanmar football fans from Tachileik city will travel and watch this game.
